Contacting Me

I prefer being contacted by e-mail mail@milstan.net in any of the languages {English, Français, Español, Српски}. It is true though that I get a lot of e-mail and it might happen that I don't reply immediately. However if the mail seams urgent or important it is the most likely that you'll get your answer right away (in a couple of hours). I tend not to approach my computer when I am on vacation so if you need something urgently then better write to urgent@milstan.net, you are more likely to get your answer quickly.

A word about busyness and e-mail overload

There is a lot of e-mail circulating this world these days. As a response people usually tend to present themselves as very very busy so that others think twice before sending them something. I believe this approach to be contra productive, only blocking decent and caring people from sending you something you might actually care to read, and not preventing the others from flooding your mailbox.
So if you want to send me something that might be worth my time, feel free to send it, no matter how busy do I look to you; and I will take care myself to filter out the unnecessary stuff.

Color of e-mail and Typeface

You can send me e-mails in any color you like, provided that this color is black. E-mails written in Comic Sans are treated as spam.

Regular Mail

I am a big fan of regular mail, so fell free to send me letters to my postal address

211 rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine
75011 Paris

Please do not send registered mail without a good reason, especially if you want the letter to actually reach me. My willingness to receive paper letters does not apply to letters from SEPHORA, 3 Suisses and others that bombard me with commercials.

Phone

As for the phone, it is highly recommended that you avoid calling me on the phone even if you have my number. It is for your own good because trying to reach me can be quite a frustrating experience. I do not like speaking on the phone and as a result my body has developed mechanisms of resistance to the (cell)phone ringing phenomenon. This resistance is manifested through not noticing that the phone vibrates and when it rings thinking just how strange it is that someone else's phone has exactly the same melody. It is therefore much easier to arrange a f2f meeting with me than to reach me on the phone.
